sea monster
New Animation Pre-visuals /
Ahoy, all! It's been a while, but I've been keeping busy, and I'm happy to announce that the wife and I's collaboration project is slowly coming to fruition in the form of an animated trailer. That's right, there's a trailer...cause our story is so epically awesome that it warrants one. The following are screenshots from our pre-visual clip or animatic. I'm currently working on all the final animation.
Here we have a polaroid of Pachechi and her grandfather pinned to an old map. "A map of what?" you ask...you'll see.
A shot of an infamous pirate crew that our heroes encounter. Friends or foes? Not sure yet.
Oh snap, it's a sea monster! No high seas adventure is complete without sea monsters. So that's what I got for you. I'll be releasing more screen shots and sketches as we progress. Stay tuned.
Deep One /
Here’s a Deep One from Lovecraft’s novella, “The Shadow Over Innsmouth.” They’re described as frog/fish-men. So I logically mashed together the characteristics of a man, a frog and a prehistoric fish to come up with this monstrosity. Imagine this guy pulling on your leg at the beach! Who wants to swim out to the sand bar now?
