The Lost Land of Yehey: Minisode 1 - You Don't Gnome Me by mark cruz

It's finally here! Check out my first real collaboration project. In this minisode Markus starts his day off with a fresh cup of coffee, and an unexpected visitor who is not what he seems to be.

New Animation Pre-visuals by Mark Anthony Cruz

Ahoy, all! It's been a while, but I've been keeping busy, and I'm happy to announce that the wife and I's collaboration project is slowly coming to fruition in the form of an animated trailer. That's right, there's a trailer...cause our story is so epically awesome that it warrants one. The following are screenshots from our pre-visual clip or animatic. I'm currently working on all the final animation.

Lolo Polaroid

Here we have a polaroid of Pachechi and her grandfather pinned to an old map. "A map of what?" you ask...you'll see.

Pirate Crew

A shot of an infamous pirate crew that our heroes encounter. Friends or foes? Not sure yet.

Sea Monster

Oh snap, it's a sea monster! No high seas adventure is complete without sea monsters. So that's what I got for you. I'll be releasing more screen shots and sketches as we progress. Stay tuned.

Happy Birthday Andy by Mark Anthony Cruz

This is a video, with some minor animation, that I made for my best friend, Andy. He is currently serving in the armed forces and is stationed in Qatar! I couldn’t send him a present, but at least my wife and I were able to send him some warm wishes via the inter-webs! Happy birthday, Andy. We love you!

Service with a Smile by Mark Anthony Cruz

Service With A Smile?

I had to create an animation for the virtue of “Service,” as in sacrificially serving others. I instantly thought of this amazing French restaurant my wife and I ate at for our anniversary. Their service and food was excellent! My favorite two dishes were the duck and the dessert. I can’t remember specifically what they were called, but they were top notch! Unfortunately the place closed down recently, however the memory of our experience there will live on. This illustration was a simple concept piece of what the animation would look like.
